Suite Rental Available:
Yes, The Edit Shop has an edit suite available for Rent. Day or weekly rates are available. The suite features FINAL CUT Studio as well as AVID Media Composer.
The FINAL CUT system offers SD and HD editing, Graphic Design with MOTION, Compositing with SHAKE and DVD authoring with DVD STUDIO PRO. The AVID Media Composer offers SD and HD editorial, advanced color correction and improved rendering speeds. Plus it’s all connected to a fully equipped machine room. Edit your Documentary, feature or spot knowing everything you need is at your fingertips.

The Edit Shop has formed strategic partnerships with Harry K Productions and Free Street Productions in order to provide Video production services for clients as well as programming ideas.
The Edit Shop has also starting working in Hi-Def
utililizing Panasonics DVCPROHD format. WE ARE READY FOR THE FUTURE.
Some of our more recent stuff:
PTM Second Hand Smoke for CD&M : Cut like mini-horror films the spots "House" and "Car" give the viewer the sense of how sinister cigarette smoke can be. The smoke was all composited utilizing animator Scott Frizzle and all offline and online editorial was done here at the ED:IT:SH:OP with senior editor Roger Cropley. These spots are further proof of the level of talent that can be found in Portland Maine.
